It writes from your photo, not from thin air
UK sellers can spot a generated listing and it puts buyers off. So this is what the tool will and will not do.
- Your photo, your item. No generated images, no enhanced photos, no stock shots. Vinted's own help centre says not to use them, and buyers say they can tell.
- Flaws get named. If a mark, a pull or bobbling is visible, it goes in the description with a note about which photo shows it. "Immaculate" means immaculate.
- It asks for what a photo cannot show. Measurements and anything you know that the camera missed. It will not guess them.
- Five tags, not thirty. Tag stuffing gets you blocked and reported by the buyers you are trying to reach.
- Edit before you upload. The draft is a starting point in your words, not a finished listing to paste blind.

What a good Vinted description has to do
Name the flaws
Buyers do not mind a mark. They mind finding one that was not mentioned. Anything visible in your photo gets described, and where it is gets pointed at.
Measurements, in centimetres
Vinted's size labels are vague and buyers say so constantly. A size 12 is not always an L. Real measurements are the fastest way to stop questions and returns.
Plain language, not sales copy
UK Vinted buyers can spot generated waffle and it puts them off. Factual sentences about your item, in the words people actually use.

Questions people ask
What should a Vinted description actually include?
Five things buyers repeatedly say they look for: the brand, the size as it is written on the label, real measurements in centimetres, the condition stated honestly with any flaws named, and whether it runs true to size. Missing measurements is the single most common complaint from Vinted buyers.
Will the description sound like AI wrote it?
That is the thing we design against. The output describes your actual photograph in plain, factual language: what the item is, what condition it is in, what is wrong with it. No adjectives doing work the photo should do, no invented detail. Edit it before you upload, always.
Does it invent condition or flaws?
No. It describes what is visible in your photo and prompts you for the two things a photo cannot tell it: measurements and anything you know that the camera missed. If it cannot see a flaw, it will not claim the item is immaculate.
Is it against Vinted's rules to use a description generator?
Vinted's rules are about accuracy and about images. Its help centre states that stock images, AI-generated images and images found online should not be used for listings. A tool that writes a factual description from your own photograph is a different thing entirely. We do not generate images.
