1. Who We Are

Vinting ("we", "us") is an AI-powered listing generator for online marketplaces. Our service is available at vinting.app.

2. Data We Collect

• Account data: Name and email address collected via Clerk when you sign in.
• Listing data: Photos you upload and the AI-generated listings we create for you.
• Payment data: Billing information handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card number.
• Usage data: How many listings and AI generations you have used this period.
• Analytics: Anonymised page-view data via Google Analytics (GA4). You can opt out via the cookie banner.
• Error reporting: Anonymised crash reports via Sentry to help us fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the Vinting service.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, payment alerts, usage warnings) via Resend.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. Data Retention

Your account and listings are retained while your account is active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and processed within 24 hours.

5. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the UK or EU, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us at support@vinting.app or use the delete account option in Settings.

6. Cookies

We use cookies for authentication (Clerk) and analytics (Google Analytics). You can opt out of analytics cookies via the banner shown on first visit.

7. Third-Party Services

Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), Cloudinary (image storage), Google Analytics (analytics), Sentry (error tracking), Resend (email). Each has its own privacy policy.

8. Chrome Extension

The Vinting Chrome extension stores your authentication token locally using chrome.storage.local. It accesses Vinted listing pages solely to fill form fields from your saved library. No browsing data is collected or transmitted beyond what is required to fill listings. The extension communicates only with vinting.app to fetch your saved listings.
